Role Summary

Own delivery of MSN's defence programs end to end, from requirements through fielded capability, coordinating program management, forward-deployed engineering, and government engagement. This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands defence program execution and can be the primary interface between MSN and its defence & government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of MSN's defence programs against schedule, cost, and quality
Lead program management and forward-deployed engineering teams
Serve as the primary interface with government and defence stakeholders
Translate operational requirements into technical program plans
Own program governance, including compliance and reporting for public-sector programs
Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, AI, and security teams on delivery
Manage program risk, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
Support bids, RFP responses, and capture for new defence programs
Build and scale the program delivery organisation

Required Qualifications

12⁺ years in defence program management or delivery leadership roles
Proven track record delivering complex programs for government or defence customers
Strong understanding of defence procurement, governance, and compliance
Experience managing forward-deployed or field engineering teams
Excellent stakeholder management with senior government and defence officials
Strong program governance, risk management, and reporting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with government agencies or armed forces on technology or defence programs
Familiarity with public-sector governance and defence contracting
Background in a technical or engineering discipline
