AI / ML / GenAI Engineer

Role Summary

Build and deploy AI capability across MSN's platform, working hands-on across CNN/LSTM, LLM + RAG, vector databases, MLOps, and spatio-temporal NLP. This is a role for a strong AI/ML engineer who can take models from experimentation through secure, production-grade deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy models across CNN/LSTM, LLM + RAG, and NLP tasks
• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment
• Implement and optimise vector database and retrieval workflows
• Develop spatio-temporal and geospatial AI capabilities
• Ensure models meet performance, security, and air-gapped deployment requirements
• Collaborate with platform and specialist engineers on integrated systems
• Evaluate model quality and iterate based on field and customer feedback
• Document models, pipelines, and experiments for reproducibility

Required Qualifications

• 3⁺ years building and deploying ML models in production
• Strong hands-on skills across deep learning, LLMs, RAG, and NLP
• Experience with MLOps tooling and model lifecycle management
• Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
• Good understanding of model evaluation and optimisation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying AI in air-gapped or secure environments
• Experience with geospatial or spatio-temporal modelling
• Contributions to applied AI research or open-source projects
