Cybersecurity & Zero-Trust Engineer

Role Summary

Own security engineering for MSN's systems, implementing zero-trust architecture, identity and access controls, and the compliance posture needed for defence-grade deployments. This is a hands-on role for an engineer experienced in SCIF, RBAC/IAM, CERT-In VAPT, and standards such as OSA/DPDP/ISO 27001.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement zero-trust architecture across MSN's systems
• Own RBAC/IAM, access governance, and identity controls
• Support SCIF and secure-facility security requirements
• Coordinate CERT-In VAPT, penetration testing, and remediation
• Maintain compliance posture against OSA, DPDP, and ISO 27001
• Implement security controls across platform, AI, and infrastructure
• Support incident response and vulnerability management
• Author security policies, SOPs, and audit documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5⁺ years in cybersecurity or security engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with zero-trust, RBAC/IAM, and access governance
• Experience with VAPT, penetration testing, and remediation
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, DPDP, and related compliance frameworks
• Understanding of secure, air-gapped, and classified environments
• Strong security documentation and policy-authoring skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• Experience with CERT-In processes and defence-sector compliance
• Experience securing SCIF or classified network environments
